Sarah Liu is a senior at John P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey. She has a passion for advancing sustainability and environmental activism among the youth and has engaged herself in many sustainability campaigns and coalitions. Sarah joined The Green Cause because she values the future generation’s understanding of the environment in hopes to achieve greater support for sustainability initiatives.

Krushti Shah is a rising senior at John P Stevens High School. I believe the best way to create change is through education, which is why I want to help spread awareness about current environmental issues and ways to improve them among young students.

Vahini Walia is a senior at JP Stevens High School in Edison, NJ. She became interested in environmental awareness after seeing the immense amount of destruction that was occurring in her home country due to pollution. She hope to pursue computer science as she moves on with her professional career.

Shreya Nara is a junior at the Academy for Information Technology at the Union County Vocational-Technical schools. She became interested in the environmental field after getting inspired by a book called The Rule of Five, written by Harvard Law professor Richard Lazarus. After learning about the Green Cause through an email, she was more than eager to join and share her passion for the environment with her community.

Aiden is a junior at Scotch-Plains Fanwood High School dedicated to making a difference by mixing education with computers and technology.
Alice Xi

Alice is a high school sophomore at Westfield High School. She was inspired to join the Green Team due to the poor recycling system within her school. She is passionate about raising awareness regarding environmental issues, not only in our community, but also on a larger scale.
Nishi Agrawal
Nishi Agrawal is a sophomore at Edison Academy Magnet School. She joined the Green Cause to foster her interests in sustainable technology and green initiatives. She has always enjoyed spending quality time with nature (despite her disdain for bugs) and preserving its beauty. Nishi is passionate about showing her local community the importance of these goals and wishes to help create a more diverse culture in the environmental activism movement by introducing others to the global issues facing Mother Nature.
